Family & friends

The old famous princess tale THE SNOW WHITE isn’t just any old tale for kids. It holds a nice meaning in it waiting to be found.

google

In the story, the evil queen hates snow and wants Snow White gone and the huntsman works for the queen but lets her go and the dwarfs and the prince helps her gives her a better life.
Now, this the actual meaning I understood not very long back:-

The evil queen is just a symbol of all the hard times we face in life. It can a be friend who turned on you or a project at work.

google

The huntsman tells us how much ever the problem, there will be something to thicken the ice and give you some grace time to figure things out.

google

The dwarfs are the friend in life who comforts and temporally resolves the problem.

The prince is typically used in many tales like this, but it’s the most important part of the hidden story. It symbolises family because, in the end, you’ll always have them to put right back on your feet help you go through your thick and thins.

This tells us how important family & friends are.So this time of year call all your close friends and family and celebrate a fruitful christmas. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

children’s day gifts

Significance

We celebrate this day to increase awareness of children’s rights and education. It also the birthday of the first president of India Jawaharlal Nehru popularly known as ‘Chacha Nehru’ by all children. Most of you may wonder why is it called children’s day? That’s because he loved children so, his birthday is dedicated to us kids.
On this day, schools and colleges organize various programs like plays, competitions, cultural events etc. Sweets, books, stationery and other gifts are distributed to children in many schools. November 20 is celebrated as the Universal Children’s Day, as declared by the United Nations.
This is one of the day’s children have fun with their peer mates in their schools. One more thing you want to get a child a gift but you want it to be very personalized then it’s your lucky day. I am here with some simple and cute school supply gift ideas.

Ideas

Quill pencils: This is very easy but gorgeous and fun pencil which is sure to motivate kids to study. All you need is a pencil with an eraser back, quills(features) of your choice, A glue gun or super glue and some pliers.

To start with, take your pencil, remove the eraser using a pliers or your hands. Now use your glue(hot glue gun is recommended)squeeze some on the eraser surface on the pencil and the end tip of the quill. Use as many quills you desire.

Kawaii books: They are simple to make. You need your picture, some clear tape, some colour tape and your book.

Take your picture. It can be a sketch you drew or a print.

Place it on your book and cover it like you normally do.

If you used an A4 size sheet overlap the first with another one and cover the overlap with coloured tape.

This is your final look. You can add another picture at the back or just leave it blank.

So try it out and let me know if it helped you in the comments below.

MENTAL HEALTH is important!

photo form google

When you first see or hear the word mental health, what is the first thing that comes to your mind?

There is a lot of stigma attached to even talking about mental health. It’s a taboo and so people hide their problems.

Mental health can include many things like daily emotions. Sometimes they can turn negative, leaving you feeling trapped.

You feel really stressed out some times. Then slowly you feel relieved when you sit back and relax. Ways of relaxing change form person to person.

Ever felt like a stream of negative thoughts that keeps flowing through your mind and you can’t seem to stay focused in school or at work? This sometimes may not leave your back even when you try to relax like how you normally do.

That might be because you are going through some very hard times like depression, anxiety etc.

You may feel better after talking to someone. It can be your friend, parents, a counselor etc. or you may be able to take your mind off it like playing a sport, dancing, listening to songs or just about anything you enjoy doing.

If you feel you cannot bring yourself to doing that, you need to take medical help. Forget what people might think. You simply have to go get help. You have to do that because you might just realize that you have the potential to help someone else.

So remember mental health is as important as physical health. Keep taking breaks when you need it. It will affect you really bad if you don’t.

BE POSITIVE!

Goodman’s fatigue

The world is hard for nice people

who care for the world,

punishing for those who follow rules

grueling for those who pay taxes

wearisome for those who raise slogans.

The world is hard for good people

who love the world

exhausting for those who know human’s worth

arduous for those who hold a fistful of hope

laborious for those who restore warmth of a dying hearth.

Yet I must say, however,

it does make sense to think that

when the Earth tilts over by the guilty’s shame

when it turns and shakes at a maddening pace

it’s held together by the goodman’s faith.

‘Smile a day keeps the darkness away’. Smiling is so important our life yet it is avoided by quite a few people engaged with a lot of work. It may be students or adults . We all tend to forget why we smile. So let me remind you.

Travel Pointers

Hey guys Im back with some new tips for you. This time I have come up with travel tips. When you are in a new country, it’s best to think like a local. Drop tourist guides and take time to explore!

Photo by Caio Queiroz on Pexels.com
  • Move around in the available public transportation. Most cities have buses and taxis, but some developed cities like Singapore have great metro rain connectivity. You can get anywhere in no time.

  • Go walking. It’s a great way to explore any place up close. Walk through local markets. It’s a great way to understand the people, what they eat, what they wear, and so forth. Talking to shopkeepers are fun as well as enlightening.

  • Don’t be afraid to try local cuisine no matter how new you are to it. It’s quite possible that you won’t like it but you may also do too and want to add to your menu back home.

  • Go street market shopping. Learn to bargain. You may sometimes end up getting quite surprised.

Well, that’s it. Make new friends. Stop doing what everyone does. While it’s quite useful to research on travelogues, do your own thing too.

ABANDONED PUPPY NEEDS A HOME

My friends and I found this adorable puppy at the front gate. We went to take a closer look. He was bit badly by other dogs 😒. We guessed he was hungry. We fed him milk. He drank it all up like he saw it for the first timeπŸ˜ƒ.We named him Brownie since his fur is brown and he is as sweet as a brownie. Now every day we play with him and make sure he is well fed. That’s where we are right now. We hope the story does not end there though. He needs a vet. He needs a home.

5 things to do during vacation

Learn a new skill

A short course , a summer camp, or learning cooking from mom; a skill to enhance your personality. Enjoy your constructive use of time.

Get to know people

You may not have time during regular days to walk up to the nearby hawker, or postoffice or temple priest for a chat. Getting to know people is a cool way to belong to a place, to leave it and then feel like you are home when you return.

Explore an unfamiliar place

Get your mind working, by navigating through an unfamiliar place with maps or by asking for directions.

Take up a project

Take up a new project or work on an old one but tinkering , breaking apart and building something on your own. This can be worth more than classroom learning

Visit the elderly in your family

Put a smile on some frail and wrinkled faces. They can be absolutely beautiful to witness. Enquire after their health and tell them some ‘new world’ stories. Help them bridge the gap between new and old.

SUMMER TIME TIPS part 2

Hey guys i’m back this month with more summer tips. Lets see what we have.

1. Lifestyle Conversion: I know we tend to freak out a little listening to these two words “lifestyle conversion” but I am not asking much from you.

  • start with your workout schedule for whom who don’t have a proper plan start with 7min then increase if you wish.
  • go for a morning walk with a friend (if you want) and refresh your mind from all the stressful thing you in your daily routine.
  • spend time outdoors with nature

2 See a doctor: There are chances of having annoying pains from fluctuations in climate. In this case seeing a doctor is very important so that these annoying pains don’t ruin your fun.

3 Stay shady: Some like the summer heat, some don’t but we love the trip to beach. Even then it is important to stay in the shade since UV Rays are at its maximum during 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We all know not many people get early just to go to the beach! And going after 4 will be too late. Lets review some basic precautions: –

  • Use sunscreen
  • Wear sunglass
  • Use a hat

4 Plan a personal vacation: Now this is going to be fun. This is important since we are all very busy with our hectic lives. It will relax your mind and body. Go for a long weekend, maybe nice beach trip, a memorable reunion with friends/family or have a soothing coffee while reading a book.

5 Disconnect: That may be just the weirdest tips because I want you to see our blog. Asking to turn away from your gadgets may seem confusing but all I’m asking is you to make a good balanced decision probably after seeing my post.

So take my word, step away from the digital world and enjoy your summer vacation.
